Choose Low Energy Density Foods

If you want to lose weight, you want to aim for the low energy density foods. That is, the foods that leave you fuller with less calorie count. This will allow you to eat more and still lose weight.

Clear-based soups like chicken, beef, tomato, or vegetable are also great choices to fill your stomach without breaking your diet. It is mainly water, so this soup will leave you feeling full without the added calories. Just be sure to steer clear of the cream-based varieties.
